Rating Definition:

Very fine as issued. The musket has a mixture of a mottled bright appearance and a smooth dark brown patina. The stock is excellent with a series of small shallow gouges behind the rear barrel band and some very scattered minor handling marks. The cartouches are excellent. Mechanically excellent. This totally original and untocuhed Colt musket appears to have come right out of an attic!
