Manufactured in 1932. The revolver has standard blade and groove sights with the top of the barrel marked "COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and the left side of the barrel is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL". The left side of the casehardened frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking followed by a Rampant Colt. Matching numbers are stamped on the frame and grip straps with the assembly number "458" on the loading gate. The trigger guard has the number "3" and the Colt factory triangle proof stamped on the left side. Fitted with checkered Rampant Colt grips that are numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as partially refinished (cold blue on muzzle). The revolver retains 85% original blue finish showing minor thinning on the grip straps and some minor high edge wear with a cylinder drag line. The frame and hammer retain 90% original case colors. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. The action needs work.
