Manufactured in 1928. The barrel is stamped with the one line Hartford address on top and the left side is stamped "45 COLT". The frame is stamped with the two line, three patent date marking followed by a Rampant Colt on the left side. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with the number "1" and a Colt factory triangle proof on the left side. Matching numbers are stamped on the underside of the frame and on the grip straps under the right grip panel. The assembly number "469" is stamped on the loading gate. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer and fitted with smooth two piece ivory grips.

Extremely fine. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish showing minor thinning. The hammer and frame retain 95% plus original case colors. The replacement grips are undersized and have a very attractive color and grain pattern. Mechanically excellent.
