Manufactured in 1889. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, the left side of the frame is marked with the three line, three patent date marking and the upper left front of the trigger guard bow is marked "45 CAL". The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, casehardened frame and hammer with blue remaining parts, and fitted with original matching number checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt/American Eagle grips.

Very fine. The revolver retains 85% original bright high polish blue finish with some scattered flaking and some minor spotting on the cylinder. The frame retains 60% vivid original case colors with a smooth silver gray patina on the right lower side. The hammer retains most of the original slightly faded case colors. The grips have faded to brown and remain excellent with some minor handling marks and very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
