Description:

Manufactured in 1907. This revolver is 1 of only 160 Bisley Model Single Action Army revolvers chambered in 32 Colt caliber. The revolver has the standard two line Hartford address stamped on top of the barrel, the left side of the barrel is marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 32 COLT". And the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, with the partial serial number "3068" on the inside of the right grip panel, and the assembly number "395" on the loading gate. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer. Blade front, frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish with grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 to Watkins-Cotrell Company in Richmond, Virginia on February 3, 1910. Remarks state that 50 cartridges were included in the shipment.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 85% original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, minor cycling scratches on the cylinder and smooth plum patina on the grip straps. The hammer and frame retain 90% original case colors with some fading to gray. The grips have faded to brown and remain very good plus with a small chip on the right heel, some light handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
