Introduced in 1888 with this example having an extensive floral scroll engraving. Blade front and notch rear sights, with "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." on the top rib. Matching numbers are present on the lower barrel and the left side of the frame beneath the grip. The nearly full coverage of scrollwork engraving is featured on the barrels, the sides of the frame and on the back strap. The pistol is fitted with pearl bird head grips.

Very fine as custom embellished. The derringer retains 90% blue finish showing some moderate oxidation (mostly on the back strap). Some original niter blue finish remains on the trigger and hammer. The grips are excellent with an attractive color. Mechanically excellent.
