Manufactured between 1865 and 1888. Produced with no barrel markings (an indicator of early production), the pistol is equipped with a silver finished brass blade front sight and frame notch rear sight, blue spur trigger and rising hammer, and a pair of smooth contoured grips. The barrel is accented with wavy zig-zag lines, with zig-zags, punch dots and scroll patterns on the frame.

Very fine, with 90% of the frosted nickel finish remaining, showing dents along the top of the barrel and frame and some minor handling marks overall. A brown patina is visible in the cuts of the engraving. Grips are good as slightly undersized, showing some space between the tops and the frame, with light pressure dents. Mechanically very fine.
