Manufactured in 1907. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, "38 W.C.F." on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers and "1488" numbered loading gate. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and fitted with two piece ivory grips with a carved buffalo on the right panel.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored. The revolver retains nearly all of the blue and case colors showing some light spotting on the grip straps and trigger guard, some wear on the muzzle and muzzle end of the ejector housing, some pin prick type pitting on the lower front of the frame and a faint cylinder drag line. The replacement grips are a bit ill-fitting, however are excellent with only slight handling marks and attractive grain. The action is excellent.
