This is an example of a very rare and desirable Walther Model PPK pistol with the highly sought after, NSDAP Political Leader grips. Known officially as the "Honor Weapon of the Political Leaders", the PPK pistols with these special grips were presented to NSDAP officials for meritorious party service by the Fuhrer. These pistols all have a high-polish blue finish and special brown plastic grips are a one-piece wrap around version with the NSDAP/Nazi Eagle clutching a wreath that encircles the Nazi swastika insignia on each side. The left side of the slide is marked with the standard Walther Banner followed by the factory two line, legend/caliber designation followed by "Mod. PPK.". The right side of the slide, frame and barrel are stamped with the "Crown/N" commercial proofmarks. The slide has the earlier 60 degree safety lever, and cartridge indicator pin. The frame has the side magazine release button with the lanyard at the bottom of the frame. The serial number is marked vertically on the right side of the frame behind the trigger. This very scarce pistol is also accompanied by an original "Party Leader" PPK leather holster. The front flap of the holster is deeply stamped with the large Nazi Eagle clutching a Swastika encircled by a wreath. Although it is old and very deep it is questionable as it does not conform to what is normally found on this type of holster. The lower front flap is stamped with "D.R.G.M./Crossed Rifles/Akah". It is complete with two original Walther marked magazines, one has the brown plastic finger extension and the other one has the flat blued base.

Very fine with 95% of the slightly faded original blue finish with only minor edge and high spot wear overall. The grips are in very good condition with nice distinct checkering and markings on the sides with a slight crack on the right upper side. The holster is in very fine condition with nice distinct markings on the front with a very dark brown color leather overall, with nice tight stitching. Mechanically fine. A very nice looking all original NSDAP Walther PPK pistol rig.
