Introduced in 1948, the SP 47/8 was an early production variant of the P210 used for testing among sport shooters. Blade front and micro-click adjustable rear sights, with matching numbers on the slide, frame and barrel, "SP 47/8 "Target"" on the left side of the slide, "SWISS MADE" on the frame, and white and red filled safety markings. The front strap has factory serrations, with a pair of high polish walnut grips. With a green cardboard Sig box with German, French and English markings, and extra slide spring/guide rod assembly and a matching numbered spare barrel.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, with some minor handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent. The box shows scuffing appropriate to age, with a few small tears on the inside flaps. Mechanically excellent.
