Tangent rear sight, with the left side of the receiver marked "G43" followed by the serial number and "ac 44" code, the right side fitted with an integral scope rail, cast metal bolt carrier and sheet metal dust cover. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a faint Waffenamt cartouche on the left side, brown leather sling, "gcb WaA892 K43" marked magazine and cupped buttplate.

Very fine, with 70% of the original matte gray phosphate finish, showing areas of brown patina and scattered handling marks and spotting. Stock is excellent, with mild dents. The trapdoor lid is a modern replacement. Magazine needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically very good.
