Description:

Manufactured in 1944. Fixed sights, with "REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." and "P" on the slide, Atwood inspected frame with "NO." style serial number marking, "I" and "P" marked trigger guard, stamped trigger, thin hammer, serrated mainspring housing, High Standard barrel and Keyes Fiber grips. The right side of the trigger guard has been stamped with an inverted arched "SILESIA", a marking associated with a West German arms firm that did business in military surplus firearms.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, showing 95% of the phosphate, with scattered pitting, a bright edges and handling marks. A number of dents are present on the rear of the brown-tinted slide. The grips are very fine, with a few dents and scuffs. The magazine follower rides up over the slide stop, otherwise mechanically excellent.
