Manufactured in 1959, this is one of the last Model 62A rifles manufactured with the last serial number being 410,456. The left rear of the barrel is marked "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN./--U.S. OF AMERICA--" followed by "-WINCHESTER-/--TRADE MARK--" and "MODEL 62A-/22 S. L. OR L.R.". The Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang and bottom of the receiver. Blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, 17 groove forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a checkered Winchester plastic buttplate. Comes with the original two piece factory box numbered to the gun, original hanging tag, instructions and warranty card.

Near new, never assembled with only the slightest handling/storage marks. There is a white and tan residue on the buttplate which should easily clean up. The box is very good with a couple added stickers and some wear on the interior wall from the sights and a hole from the hammer.
