The attractive example was manufactured in 1964. The left side of the receiver is engraved with five pheasants in a grassy wooded scene, the right side is engraved with four ducks in a marshy scene, the bottom is engraved with two grouse in flight and the trigger guard is engraved with two rabbits. There are flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the balance. Both sides are signed "JBAERTEN" towards the bottom. The barrels have two white bead sights, are choked improved modified/full and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Mounted on a beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with factory recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. With a tan leatherette Browning takedown hardcase and owner's booklet.

Excellent, 98% of the original blue finish remains on the barrels with some scattered light handling marks along with some minor high edge, safety/selector switch and takedown wear. The French gray components retain 98% of the original finish with a few scattered light handling marks and high edge wear. The wood is very good with some scattered light dings and scratches along with the edge along the receiver having crazing and finish runs. Mechanically fine. Case is very good.
