This revolver has the "K" stamp of Klay associates of the left side of the front strap and on the bottom of the one piece ivory grip under the grip straps. The factory letter states the revolver left the factory in the standard configuration. There is also a letter from Frank Klay stating he made all the accessories in the case and that he may have refinished the entire revolver. With a hardwood Colt display case lined in blue velvet, a powder flask, a bullet mold, an empty cap tin and a nipple wrench/screwdriver.

Rating Definition:

Near new with a few scattered light scratches and a light drag line on the cylinder. The casehardened components retain all of the slightly muted case colors. The grip straps have been silver plated by Frank Klay and retain all of the silver. The ivory grip is very good with some age cracks at the bottom. The case is very good with scattered scratches. The accessories are all very good.
