Description:

Lightly engraved lock marked "I & W CALVERT" and the top barrel flat is marked "LEEDS". Gold inlaid band on the upper flats of the breech plug and the barrel tang is engraved with floral designs. The trigger guard is engraved with a floral design. Sliding hammer safety, wooden ramrod with brass tip and mounted on a full walnut stock with checkered grip area. Comes with a small caliber, two cavity iron bullet mold marked Colts patent.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrel and hammer have a smooth mottled gray patina. The trigger guard and tang have a smooth mottled brown patina. The lock has a smooth dark patina. All of the gold inlay remains. The stock is good with scattered minor dents and dings associated with a pistol of this age, the checkering is crisp and the edges of the flat remain sharp. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is fine. The Colts patent bullet mold is good with a mottled patina, and dents and dings.
