Manufactured from 1866 to 1878, less than 400 American Arms Double Derringers are believed to have been made in 41 caliber. Silver finished brass blade sights, with "AMERICAN ARMS CO. BOSTON, MASS." on one top flat and "PAT. OCT 31, 1865 -JUNE 19, 1866" on the reverse. Fitted with a checkered hammer, spur trigger and smooth flared butt grips.

Fine. The barrel shows a bright gray patina overall, with dark spotting, some dents from the hammer, and mild pitting. The frame shows a well-aged brass patina, with bright edges. Grips are very good, with light dents. Mechanically very good.
