Description:

The German silver barrel has two British proofs stamped on the upper left flat. The 3 1/4 inch blade and 2 inch blade are marked "UNWIN &/RODGERS/SHEFFIELD" on the left ricasso. The knife and pistol are enclosed in a German silver case with horn scales riveted to the sides. The scales have checkering in the grip area. It has a folding lid compartment for caps in the back strap and provisions for tools on the sides of the frame at the butt (a German silver bullet mold is included).

Rating Definition:

Very good. The iron components have a mottled gray patina showing some light pitting. The scales have a hairline crack near a rivet (right panel) and some minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
