Description:

The top of the barrel is marked "GAULOIS", with the crossed cannons, and arrow logo. There is a bead front sight. The top of the frame is marked "CAL./8m/m" over the chamber with the full company marking at the rear and "No./3" on the dust cover. The frame and barrel are both decorated with etched floral designs. The operating arm is casehardened, with a checkered hard rubber grip panel. The sliding dust cover and front of the frame is serrated.

Rating Definition:

Very good as period refinished. The pistol retains 90% of the blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The operating arm retains traces of case colors. The grip is very good with a missing chip at the top and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
