The military/patriotic motif engraved receiver is marked "SOUTHALL" on the left side and "LONDON" on the right side. Two British proofs are stamped ahead of the trigger guard and equipped with a sliding hammer safety. A 1 3/4 inch snap bayonet is attached to the underside of the barrel and activated by pulling back the trigger guard. Fitted with a one piece grip.

Fair. The pistol has a mottled gray patina showing some light pitting. The grip is fine with a series of small shallow gouges on the butt and a number of minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

The sides of the frame are engraved with a military/patriotic motif and the barrel has a etched floral pattern. There are no maker markings. Sliding hammer safety and iron ramrod with a one piece nicely figured walnut grip.
