One of approximately 1,000 manufactured in the late 1860s. Barrel cluster and right grip are numbered to the gun with the one line address on the barrel cluster.

Rating Definition:

Good. The pepperbox has a smooth mottled gray patina with a patch of mild pitting on the barrel cluster. The grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

Description:

Manufactured between 1859 and 1874. The right side of the frame is marked "C. SHARPS PATENT/JAN. 25, 1859", and the matching serial number is marked on the frame under the grip and on the bottom of the barrels. Fitted with smooth bird head grips.

Rating Definition:

Good. The pistol has a smooth mottled brown-gray patina with a few patches of mild pitting. The grips are fine with a couple long gouges and a few mild scratches with most of the finish remaining. Mechanically fine.
