The top barrel flat is marked "{ADDRESS SAML COLT/NEW-YORK CITY}", cylinder is roll-engraved with the stagecoach holdup scene and "COLTS PATENT/No. 63781" and the frame is marked "COLTS/PATENT." Serial number on barrel, frame, cylinder and grip straps. The barrel wedge and arbor pin are numbered to the gun. Fitted with a varnished grip.

Good. The revolver has a smooth gray patina with minor pitting. Much of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps retain 20% original silver plating with the exposed brass having a smooth patina. The grip is fine with much of the original varnish, high edge wear and a number of minor handling marks. Cylinder scene is mostly intact. Mechanically fine.
