A) Colt Model 1862 Navy Cartridge Conversion 38 Rimfire Revolver

Description:

One line New York address on round barrel, two line patent date marking on left side of frame, "36 CAL" on left side of trigger guard and stagecoach hold up scene on the cylinder. Matching numbers on barrel, frame and grip straps. Fitted with a one piece grip.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains 60% original nickel finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The exposed brass has an attractive aged patina. Most of the cylinder scene remains. The revarnished grip is fine with a couple small chips missing from the bottom and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
