Manufactured in 1898. The barrel has the one line Hartford address on top and "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side. The left side of the frame has a circled Rampant Colt. Fitted with smooth ivory grips and a lanyard ring on the butt.

Very good. The revolver retains 30% original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. Some light pitting is present. The shrunken grips are good with fine age cracking and a filled repair (right panel). Mechanically fine. A colorful Old West Colt Model 1878 DA Revolver!
