Manufactured in 1901. The barrel has the two line Hartford address on top and the left side is marked with the caliber. The left side of the frame is stamped with the three patent dates marking and with the Rampant Colt in a circle. Fitted with a set of checkered hard rubber grips with a Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. With a lightly tooled leather shoulder holster that appears to be period to the gun.

Very good, strong traces of the original blue finish remain mostly in the protected areas with a smooth brown patina on the balance. Traces of the original case colors remain in the protected areas with a silvery/gray patina on the balance. The ejector rod head is a poor replacement and the cylinder pin has tool marks. The grips are also fine with some minor chips on the butt and smoothed checkering. Mechanically fine. The holster is good with age cracks and wear.
