This is an early example that CSMC assembled using all Winchester original parts. The receiver is engraved with game scenes on both sides with the left side showing a pheasant in a grassy field with trees in the distance and the right side shows a grouse displaying in a woodland field. The trigger plate is engraved with a dog holding a quail in its mouth while on point and looking back towards it's master. The trigger guard is also engraved, with a setter on point in a woodland scene. There is extensive floral scroll engraving on the remainder of the receiver, trigger plate, break lever, forearm hardware and 1 inch wedges on the breech end of the barrels. The water table has the lightening cuts and one circled "W/P" proofmark. Fitted with a single selective gold washed trigger and automatic tang mounted safety with the "SAFE" marking inlaid in silver. The barrels have a single red bead on the matte vent rib that has a milled oval marked "CUSTOM BUILT", are choked WS-1/WS-2 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrel flats are stamped with the oval "W/P" proofmarks along with the matching serial number (W38059). The forearm lug and barrel flats are jeweled with the sides of the forearm lug stamped "CT. SHOTGUN MFG./NEW BRITAIN, CT. U.S.A." Mounted on a beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut beavertail forearm with contrasting ebony inlay and straight grip stock with initial oval and checkered bare butt. With a Winchester Model 21 box numbered to the gun, hanging tag and a factory letter from CSMC confirming the configuration. Bores measure .545 (right) and .546 (left), the bore constriction is .002 (right) (Skt) and .003 (left) (Skt). Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches, drop at the comb is 1 3/8 inches, and drop at the heel is 2 3/8 inches.

Excellent, 99% plus of the original blue finish remains with a few scattered light handling and storage marks. The wood is also excellent with scattered light scratches, dings and some minor chips in the finish. Mechanically excellent. The box is also excellent. A beautiful gun that would fit in with any high end shotgun or Winchester collection!
