Manufactured in 1955 with standard featherweight length barrel chambered for the rare .358 Winchester, a caliber that Winchester offered from 1955 to 1958. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Ramp front sight base (sight ground down), adjustable folding leaf rear sight and Weaver K15-C3 scope. Late safety, straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun and sling swivels. The checkered high comb pistol grip stock is fitted with a checkered aluminum buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish showing some loss at the muzzle and some light scratches on the floor plate and trigger guard. The refinished stock is very fine with overall crisp re-cut checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics.
