Manufactured in 1950 during the transition period (late 1945 to 1951). Hooded ramp front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight and receiver tapped for sight/scope mounting. Late safety, straight receiver tang, sling swivels and polished bolt with illegible number. Checkered pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The carbine retains 97% original blue finish showing some minor thinning at the muzzle and high edge wear on the buttplate. The floor plate has a number of very light long scratches. The stock is also excellent with a ding in the grip area and a few minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
