Manufactured in 1963 in the rare .300 Winchester Magnum caliber, which was offered from late 1962 to 1963. Hooded ramp front sight, adjustable folding leaf rear sight and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the barrel and the receiver at the breech. Polished bolt numbered to the gun, late safety, straight tang and sling swivels. The checkered pistol grip stock features a raised comb and vented Winchester recoil pad. This rifle was featured in the cover story to the magazine The Winchester Collector, Summer 2012 (magazine is included).

Excellent. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish showing some minor loss at the muzzle and some minor high edge wear. The stock is also excellent with a few very scattered minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
