Manufactured in 1944. The rifle features a hooded ramp front sight, a sporting rear sight and receiver tapped for scope mounts and with a Lyman sight (no stock inletting). Standard Winchester markings including single factory proofs on the barrel and receiver and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. Pre-war safety, polished bolt numbered to gun and cloverleaf tang. Checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend tip, factory hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece, quick release sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% of the original blue finish showing slight loss at the muzzle and some high edge wear on the buttplate. The stock is also excellent with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
