This is an excellent example of a Nazi "G" date Mauser Police Luger pistol that was manufactured in 1935 and is complete with two matching magazines and an original serial numbered matching black leather holster. These early Lugers were all manufactured during the early rearmament by the Nazis, with the "G" date being the secret code for 1935. The chamber has the single "G" date with the "S/42" Mauser code on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the early single "Eagle/63" droop wing acceptance proof next to a single Eagle firing proof. The underside of the barrel has the serial number and bore diameter, a single small "Eagle/63" Waffenamt proof on the upper left side and a single Eagle firing proof on the upper right side. It has the correct military style serial number placement with the full serial number "9419c" on the frame, and (9419) on the barrel extension and barrel, and the last two digits (19) on the various small parts. It is correctly marked "Gesichert" and "Geladen" in the safety area and extractor respectively. Standard fixed front and rear sight and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Two Type I chrome plated magazines with the aluminum bases that are marked "1/9419/H" and "2/9419/H". Complete with a brown 1935 dated leather holster stamped "FRANZ COBAU/BERLIN/1935/Police-Sunburst" proofmark on the back and the matching serial number "9419" stamped in the upper right hand corner.

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% of the blue finish showing some edge and high spot holster wear, with most of the blue loss on the side plate hump. With exception of a sliver of wood absent above the magazine release, the grips are very fine with a few minor nicks and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The holster is fine with some minor scuffs and wear, clear markings and tight stitching. A very nice all complete, all matching, and very scarce early 1935 dated Police Luger rig with two matching magazines and matching holster!
