Manufactured circa 1954-1956. The barrel has the standard S&W and caliber markings, The left side of the top strap is marked "REVOLVER, LIGHTWEIGHT, M13" and the back strap is marked "PROPERTY OF U.S. AIR FORCE". The serial number is on the butt and the revolver lacks the U.S. A.F. property number and the Air Force grip medallions. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% original blue finish with a few minor dings and light scratches. The grips are also excellent with minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The action is excellent.
