Manufactured between September 1943 and January 1944. The front sight is stamped "N", the barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/10-43", type 1 barrel band with "UI" stamped sling swivel, 2 rivet shallow groove handguard stamped "IO". It has a straight face slide, flat bolt stamped "AI", the left side of the receiver is marked "Fed Ord Inc./So. El Monte, CA. USA.", type 1 rear sight stamped "S", "W-I" stamped magazine catch, push button safety, dog leg hammer stamped "HI" and a high wood walnut stock stamped "IO" in the sling cutout and with an ordnance cartouche on the right side. With a green web sling.

Professionally restored, 97% of the arsenal refurbished green parkerized finish remains with some scattered scratches along with high edge and cycling wear. There is some pitting under the finish on the receiver. The wood is very good as sanded and reoiled with some scattered dings and scratches along with a small hairline crack on top of the wrist. Mechanically fine.

Front sight is stamped "R", barrel is stamped "ROCK-OLA", type 1 barrel band stamped "M-R", 2 rivet handguard stamped "RMC", straight faced slide stamped "ROCK-OLA" on the bottom, flat bolt stamped "ROCK-OLA", right side of the barrel is stamped "ROCK-OLA", type 1 rear sight stamped "S" on the left and "RR" on the right, "ROCK-OLA" marked recoil plate, "B R" marked magazine catch, push button safety, brazed trigger guard is stamped "ROCK-OLA", hammer is stamped "KR2" and a high wood walnut stock with "RMC" stamped in the sling cutout, an ordnance cartouche on the right side and a boxed "RMC" cartouche on the right side. With a green web sling.

Professionally restored, the metal components retain 90% of the dark green parkerized finish with some scattered scratches along with high edge and cycling wear. The buttplate has traces of the parkerized finish. The wood is good as sanded with two repaired cracks on top of the wrist. Mechanically fine.
