Manufactured in late 1937. The barrel is stamped "SA/flaming bomb/6- 37". The top flat of the curved bolt handle is stamped "N.S.". Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a faint "AAP" cartouche on the left side of the wrist, a circled "P" proof on the front of the wrist, "BP/137" stamped on the right side of the buttstock, the drawing number "D1836" is stamped in front of the rear sling swivel and there is a checkered steel buttplate.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, 85% of the almost black parkerized finish remains with some scattered minor scratches and high edge wear. The stock is very good as sanded with some scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.

Blade and ladder sights, with "SA/ordnance bomb/10-23" marked barrel. Standard receiver markings. Mounted with a smooth stock with a boxed "D.A.L." cartouche on the left side, circled "P" in the grip area. sling swivels, and smooth buttplate with compartment (cleaning kit not included). Complete with a "BOYT/1918 J.J.M." marked sling and a 1905 pattern bayonet marked "US/1033573" on one side ricasso and "SA/ordnance bomb/1918" on the opposite and canvas covered scabbard with leather toe and belt hanger.

Fine, 70% of the parkerized finish remaining. The reoiled stock is also fine with some scattered minor dings and dents and clear cartouche. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The sling is good with some flex cracking and wear. The bayonet and scabbard are very good with some stains on the scabbard.
