This is an example of a rifle available through the DCM between 1924 and 1928. Lyman globe front sight and ladder rear sight without the 2,850 yard notch. The right rear of the receiver is equipped with a fully adjustable Lyman rear peep sight. The muzzle is marked with a star and is marked "S A/flaming bomb/4-23" behind the front sight. The receiver has the standard markings. The bright polished bolt is numbered to another gun and is marked "NS" on the base of the bolt knob. Mounted with a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels, "circled P" proof on the front of the wrist, checkered steel cupped buttplate and a black leather claw sling.

Very fine as professionally refurbished with 99% of the blue finish remaining showing some high edge wear. 98% of the parkerized finish remains with some high edge wear and some scratches on the floor plate. The stock is also very fine with some scattered minor scratches. Clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
