Manufactured in 1918, and later passing through Augusta Arsenal for overhaul. Fixed sights, with the three line, two block patent and address markings flanking the circled "REMINGTON/UMC" logo on the left side and "MODEL OF 1911/U.S. ARMY CALIBER .45" on the right. "E.E.C." inspected frame, with "eagle/E28" stamped over the magazine catch and "AA" ahead of the slide stop. Checkered grips with diamond patterns around the screws, "S P" barrel, long smooth trigger, thin serrated hammer, short grip safety and flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple. Barrel stamped "P" atop the chamber. With a brown cardboard collector's box.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 95% of the dipped blue finish, showing mild handling marks and edge wear overall. Grips are fine, with light dings. Mechanically excellent.
