A) Inland M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine

Description:

Manufactured between November 1944 and January 1945. The front sight is stamped "IS", the barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/12-44", type 1 barrel band with "UI" stamped sling swivel, 4 rivet handguard, angled slide face, round bolt, type 1 rear sight stamped "S~", modified magazine catch stamped "E.I.", push button safety and a low wood walnut stock stamped "IO" in the sling cutout and with an ordnance cartouche on the right side. With a green web sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored, the barrel retains 98% of the original blue finish with a couple significant dings at the muzzle. The remaining metal components retain 95% plus dark green parkerized finish with scattered scratches, light dings and high edge wear. The reoiled stock is very good with some scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured between August 1944 and November 1944. Front sight is stamped with an "N", barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/8-44", 2nd type barrel band, 4 rivet handguard, angled slide face, round bolt, type 3 rear sight, unmarked recoil plate, modified magazine catch stamped "E.I.", flip safety stamped "N.", low wood walnut stock stamped "IO" in sling cutout and with a ordnance cartouche on the right side. With a green web sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, 98% plus of the blue and parkerized finish remains with some scattered minor scratches and light wear overall. The stock is very good with scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
