Manufactured in 1943. The pistol has the Union Switch & Signal marked slide with the frame having the "UNITED STATES PROPERTY M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" marking over the serial number on the right side and the letter "P" below the magazine release on the left side. Thin hammer, stamped trigger, checkered slide catch, thumb safety and arched mainspring housing, and checkered grips.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished. The pistol retains 99% of the parkerized finish showing overall minor pitting under the finish and a few minor handling marks. The markings are weak but legible. The grips are excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
