Manufactured in 1978 and featuring a custom deep relief engraving with silver inlays and scrimshawed ivory grips. The revolver has standard Colt barrel and frame markings with the grip straps numbered to the gun. Two silver inlaid rattlesnakes cross the full length of the left and right barrel sides with the head of the snakes at the muzzle. The back strap has a deep relief floral scroll engraving that incorporates a dragon head at the top. The frame serial number has been factory restamped. The scrimshawed ivory grips are signed M. Cameron on the right panel and continue with the rattlesnake motif. The right grip panel has a coiled rattlesnake in a fierce posture against his approaching eagle attacker and the left panel has a rattlesnake slithering through the eye cavities of a steer skull.

Very fine as professionally embellished. The engraved back strap has a smooth gray patina, otherwise the remaining metal surfaces retain 99% of the blue and casehardened finish with light cycling marks on the cylinder and a few light handling marks. The grips are excellent with attractive color and grain pattern. Mechanically excellent.
