Introduced in January 1982 this Buntline revolver is known as the Model P1716. These types of Buntlines were configured with a 12 inch 44 Special barrel and had a nickel finish. Total production was only 373 (see Wilkerson's book COLT SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER 1976-1986). The revolver has standard markings and smooth grips. Comes with Colt cardboard shipping box numbered to the gun and hanging tag.
