Manufactured circa 1979-1980. The revolver features a beautiful factory Class "A" scroll engraving covering the barrel and lug sides, frame, cylinder flats between the flutes and trigger guard. Standard barrel markings in panels, "S&W" logo on the lower left rear of the frame in a circle and the four line address on the lower right front of the frame. Ramp front blade sight with insert, adjustable rear target sight, blue finish with casehardened checkered hammer and serrated trigger, and S&W medallion grips. The S&W blue box is numbered to the gun with the end label listing special features as "A" for the type of engraving. Complete with a presentation S&W case featuring a glass lid and blue velvet lining. The factory letter confirms the barrel length, finish, Class A engraving and target grips and was shipped on June 19, 1980 to Pacific International Merchandising Corporation, Sacramento, CA.

Near new with a light cylinder drag line. The box is very fine. The case is excellent.
