Description:

Manufactured between 1893 and 1905. This is one of only 862 manufactured in .22 LR. There is a pinned blade front sight and an adjustable rear sight on the barrel latch. The matching serial number is stamped on the breech end of the barrel under the latch and on the latch. Fitted with a set of checkered walnut extension grips with silver S&W medallions.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, 90% plus of the original high quality blue finish remains with some high edge and muzzle wear along with some scattered light scratches and a couple small spots of cleaned oxidation. The hammer, trigger and trigger guard retain 50% of the muted original case colors. The grips are both excellent with only a few minor marks. Mechanically excellent.
