Manufactured in 1903. Sheard blade front sight, elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight and full length magazine. The upper left barrel flat is stamped with the two line address/patent date marking, two line nickel steel marking and "32-40". The barrel and receiver have the Winchester factory oval proof. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with iron forend cap and crescent buttplate.
Fine as partially refinished (breech area of possibly replaced barrel). The balance of rifle retains 40% of the original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is very good with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
