This example was manufactured in 1892. The size 2 receiver has the standard GH or grade 2 engraving with game bird scenes in ovals and flourishes of floral scroll engraving. The replacement barrels are engraved with wedges of floral scroll engraving at the breeches, have a single brass bead sight on the vent rib, are choked light modified/improved modified and have 2 7/8 inch chambers with an extractor. There are Belgian proofmarks on the water table and on the bottom flat of the Titanic Steel barrels. Mounted on a custom nicely figured, multi-point checkered English walnut splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered horn buttplate. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches.

Refinished and assembled, 98% of the high quality blue finish remains with some high edge wear, some scattered light scratches and an area under the forearm has been cleaned. The casehardened components retain 99% of the bright case colors with some minor wear. The replacement wood is excellent with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically fine.
