Manufactured in 1981. Post front and 4-position drum rear sights, bird cage flash hider on the threaded muzzle, textured forearm, "0-1" trigger group and a polymer stock with a ribbed buttplate. The right side of the magazine well has the "HK Inc./Arl.VA" import marks and the left has the model, caliber, and "eagle/N, IB, antler" commercial proofmarks. With a green canvas sling, an unmarked scope with flip-up covers, and a detachable reticle illuminator, a soft case and four extra magazines.

Excellent, with 98% of the original matte black finish, showing mild handling marks overall. The stock is equally excellent, and the optics are good, with mild spotting on the lenses. Mechanically excellent.
