This is an early HK-93A3 rifle as manufactured in 1978, during the time when Heckler & Koch ended their relationship with SACO Defense, (Security Arms Corporation) in favor of importing rifles and pistols through their own HK Company located in Arlington Va. Magazine well marked "Made In Germany/excl. for SACO/Arl. Va./Kal .223", with serial number and "HI" code on the left side. Fitted with standard German military post front sight and 4-position adjustable rear sight, with original flash hider, wide forend, pistol grip and sliding buttstock. The forend has been fitted with an original bi-pod. The rifle has been equipped with an Aimpoint electronic Mark III red dot sight and a brown leather sling. With three extra magazines.

Excellent, 98% of the original blue finish remains with scattered scratches and edge wear. Mechanically excellent. The red dot sight is untested.
