Dated "1915" on the chamber and marked "DWM" on the toggle. The serial number is marked on the left side of the extension, front of the frame and on the bottom of the barrel, with matching partial numbers on the latch, side plate, trigger, sear, safety components, hold open, toggle links, extractor, breechblock and firing pin. "12593042-" has been added to the left side of the frame, underneath the side plate, with an electric pencil. Three "crown/ script letter" proofs and "Imperial Eagle" firing proof are marked on the extension, with the Imperial Eagle repeated on the breechblock and barrel. Proper upper safety position and extractor markings. Small components are straw colored and the sear spring and screws are niter blue. Fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% of the original blue finish, showing a few light dings on the front strap, some bright edge wear and minor spotting and handling marks. 70% of the original straw colors remain. The grips are very fine with a hairline crack in the left panel next to the safety and some light pressure dents in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
