Gauge: 8 mm
Barrel: 21 inch round
Finish: phosphate
Grip:
Stock: walnut

Class: Modern Long Gun
Description:

This is a non-firing replica of the rare VG1 (Volkes Geweh) rifle as originally manufactured by Carl Walther in 1945 and were originally designed as a war expedient model that relied on the traditional manufacturing process. This "DEKOWAFFEN" or non-firing decorator rifle was made without a firing pin, but is still functional (bolt can be cycled and magazine removed). The left rear of the barrel is marked "84839" (upside down) and the left front of the receiver is stamped "VG1 45AC 105". Correct late war greenish phosphate finish and crudely styled late war stock.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 99% original phosphate finish remaining. The stock is also excellent with a few minor scuffs and dings. The sling is very good plus. Original examples of these rifles sell for upward of $5,000-$6,000. This is a chance for a beginning collector to own and display an excellent copy.
