Description:

This excellent example of a late Model 1929 Swiss Military Luger was made at the factory in BERN chambered in the 9 mm. Has the distinctive straight grip frame angle with the grip safety and fast taper profile barrel of the Swiss Lugers. Smooth toggle knobs, with the "S" marked upper safety area and the extractor marked "GELADEN". This specific serial number falls into the end of the military contract serial number range (50001-77941) and lacks the commercial "P" serial number prefix. The left frame rail has the small "+/M" (inspection and/or acceptance by Swiss Army Col. Muhlemann). The front toggle has the military Swiss Cross in a Shield logo and the full serial number stamped on the rear portion of the toggle assembly. Distinctive dark brown checkered grips with the mold numbers/marks on the outside of each grip panel. With one original Swiss manufactured magazine (correct dark brown plastic base and marked with a script "P" on the spine).

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original matte blue finish showing some edge and high spot wear, thinning and light spotting on the grip safety and a few minor dings. The grips are also excellent with only minor handling marks. Clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
