According to P38 expert and author Warren Buxton, approximately 872 "Eagle/F" police proofed P38 pistols were manufactured. "Eagle/WaA135" proofs are present with commercial "Eagle/N" proofs on the slide and barrel lug and a police "Eagle/F" proof on the right side of the slide. Blue barrel with remaining surfaces having the phosphate finish. The mix of Waffenamt and commercial/police proofs is due to the fact that Waffenamt inspected components were made available to police inspectors based on requirements at the time. All parts began as military components. Visible numbers match, ribbed grips and a blue magazine with an "Eagle/135" proof on the spine. The holster is marked "ewx/1944" with an "Eagle/WaA195" proof and the included extra blue magazine has an "Eagle/135" proof on the spine.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% plus original blue and phosphate finishes with very light muzzle wear. The grips are also excellent with some very minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is excellent showing some minor handling marks and tight stitching with the inside hand marked "SLADE C.M./32744404". An excellent example of a Nazi Police Eagle/F marked P38 holster rig.
